It is slow or the phone gets warm
- Photos are processed on your phone, so large photos take longer. Free handles photos up to about 1 MP; Premium up to about 3 MP. Colorize is fast on any size.
- On phones without a compatible GPU, Sharply falls back to the processor and is slower. Settings → Re-check GPU acceleration can refresh this.
The result looks too smooth or too strong
Lower the Strength slider to blend more of your original photo back in.
Colors look different from the real ones
Colorize estimates plausible colors for black-and-white photos. Try the Warm or Vivid style, or lower the color intensity.
Free limits, Premium, restore and cancel
- Free: a few enhancements per day. They reset every day, or watch a short ad for one more.
- Restore: Settings → Restore purchases (same Google account).
- Cancel: Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Sharply. Lifetime is a one-time purchase.
